Breakfast and After School Clubs

We run both Breakfast and After School Clubs in house and accept childcare vouchers.  Both clubs are open to all pupils who attend St John's School (for new Year R pupils when they attend school full time).

A registration form will need to be completed prior to your child attending either club.

Breakfast Club

We provide a healthy breakfast for children before school, in a safe and caring environment.  The children enjoy the warm family atmosphere.

Sessions run Monday to Friday, 7.45am to 8.45am. The children will then go to their classrooms for registration at 8.55am.

Fees / Charges

Each session is currently £4.50 per child

Cancellations; Payment may still be required if we have not been informed of non-attendance or if cancellation is made within 24 hours of the session

After School Club

The children are given a healthy snack and the sessions are all about fun, consisting of a variety of activities including: sport, art and crafts, books and games.

Sessions run Monday to Thursday, 3.15pm to 5.30pm.  

The club runs at full capacity on most days so please only book if you will definitely need a place. Occasionally we receive cancellations on the day due to absence.  Please call the school office after 09:30 to see if there is a space that day.

Fees / Charges

Half session (3.15pm to 4.30pm) = £6.00 per child

Full session (3.15pm to 5.30pm) = £10.00 per child

2nd half session (4.20 to 5.30pm, handy if your child attends a club run by an external provider) = £6.00 per child

Late collections; late pick ups will incur an additional charge of £5 for 1-15 minutes, £10 for 16-30 minutes.

Bookings

Please email the school office for bookings for Term 2 - office@stje.bwmat.org

Bookings will be taken strictly on a first come first served basis and must be made in advance (for catering and staffing purposes).  Please only book if you will definitely need a place.

Child Care Vouchers

We accept childcare vouchers towards the payment of wrap around care.  We advise you make payments on a monthly or termly basis to ensure your account is up to date.

Government Childcare Scheme:

Login to your childcare account and link your account to St John’s school, registration no: 143021

Once you have made a payment you will need to email the school office a screen print of the payment along with details of your child's reference, and if the payment is for breakfast club or afterschool club. 

Once we receive the screen shot and relevant information we will credit your parent pay account. Please note, payments are not automatically credited, you need to ensure you notify us of the payment. 

Company Childcare Providers:

The school office will receive an automated email notification of the payment from your provider, we will then credit your parent pay account.
